Birthplace: Peru

I was born in Trujillo (Perú). I got a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science (2009) at Universidad Nacional de Trujillo (UNT). After my undergrad's studies, I had a teaching experience (2009-I and 2009-II) at Universidad Privada del Norte (Cajamarca, Perú). I got a MSc degree in Computer Science (2012) at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME) of the University of São Paulo (Brazil). My master's studies was under supervision of Prof. Dr. Roberto Hirata Junior working on object detection in videos using mixtures of deformable part models obtained from an external image set. It was funded by FAPESP. I got the second prize in the XX Latin American Contest of Master Thesis (CLTM - CLEI 2013). Then, I did a research internship for 6 months at the LITIS Laboratory - INSA of Rouen (France, 2013-I), under supervision of Prof. Dr. Stéphane Canu working on techniques of machine learning for recommender systems. Now, I'm a PhD in Computer Science. During my PhD studies I was under supervision of Prof. Dr. Paulo Miranda at IME-USP (Brazil) working on an efficient hierarchical graph approach for Multi-Region Segmentation. Currently, I am giving Artificial Intelligence consultant services at GENTER - Company Human Resources Solutions. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
