He has a degree in Biological Sciences (Bachelor's and Degree) from UNESP - Faculty of Sciences and Letters of Assis, specialization in Human Genetics, with an emphasis on viral oncogenesis from the Butantan Institute. Master and PhD in Biotechnology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at USP, with a sandwish doctorate at the Dipartimento di Medicina Veterinaria at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico Secondo (Napoli, Italy). He has a postdoctoral degree in Molecular Cancer Biology from EPM-UNIFESP. He has extensive experience in the areas of Genetics and Molecular Biology, developing multi- and interdisciplinary research aimed at identifying therapeutic targets and biomarkers for cancers and neurodegenerative diseases. He is currently a professor of Molecular Biology and Oncogenetics in the Postgraduate Programs in Structural and Functional Biology (PPGBEF-EPM-UNIFESP), Endocrinology and Metabology (PPGEM-EPM-UNIFESP) and professor of Business Management and Entrepreneurship in the MBA Program in Biotechnology from UNIFESP - Baixada Santista campus. He is also Founder and Scientific Director of BioDecision Analytics Ltda., a pioneering company in Pharma Intelligence in Latin America, acting as a scientific and regulatory consultant related to research, development and innovation of pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic products. In addition, he acts as a reviewer for international periods and an ad hoc advisor to FAPESP. In 2023, he was named a Full Member of Sigma Xi (The Scientific Research Honor Society), one of the oldest and most prestigious scientific organizations in the world. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
