He holds a degree in Biological Sciences (Bachelor and Degree) from UNESP - Faculdade de Ciências e Letras de Assis (FAPESP scholarship holder), specialization in Genetics (Viral Oncogenesis) from the Butantan Institute, Master's degree (CNPq scholarship holder) and PhD in Biotechnology (FAPESP scholarship holder) from University of São Paulo (USP) and postdoctoral fellow in Molecular Cancer Biology at the Escola Paulista de Medicina (EPM) of the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) with extensive experience in the areas of mutagenesis, molecular biology of cancer, gene editing by CRISPR -Cas9, oncogenesis and biotechnology. Develops research aimed at understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate the epithelial-mesenchymal transition, seeking to identify molecular markers that can be employed as biotechnological targets for the development of diagnostic methods based on liquid biopsies or immunotherapy, as well as new therapeutic approaches based on exosomes (cell -free therapy). He is currently professor of Molecular Biology in the Graduate Programs in Structural and Functional Biology (EPM-UNIFESP), Endocrinology and Metabology (EPM-UNIFESP) and professor of Business Management and Entrepreneurship in the MBA Program in Biotechnology at UNIFESP - Baixada Santista campus . In addition to his academic participation, he is also a founding partner and CEO of BioDecision Analytics Ltda. In 2023, he was named a Full Member of Sigma Xi (The Scientific Research Honor Society), one of the oldest and most prestigious scientific organizations in the world. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
