Rodrigo Pinheiro Araldi

Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Araldi holds a Bachelors and a Teaching Degree in Biological Sciences from UNESP Faculdade de Ciências e Letras de Assis, with a specialization in Human Genetics and an emphasis on viral oncogenesis from the Butantan Institute. He earned his Masters and PhD degrees in Biotechnology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (USP), including a doctoral internship at the Dipartimento di Medicina Veterinaria of the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (Naples, Italy). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Cancer Molecular Biology at EPM-UNIFESP. He has extensive experience in Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology, conducting multidisciplinary research focused on the identification of therapeutic targets and biomarkers for cancers and neurodegenerative diseases. For more than a decade, he has worked in the field of advanced therapies, directly engaging in research, development, analytical characterization, and manufacturing processes of medical products based on cell therapy, gene therapy, and free approaches (extracellular vesicle#8209;based products). His expertise includes scientific, technical, and regulatory support for the development of advanced therapy products at different stages, from preclinical design to preparation for regulated and GMP;compliant environments.He is currently a professor of Molecular Biology in the Graduate Programs in Structural and Functional Biology (EPM-UNIFESP) and Endocrinology and Metabolism (EPM-UNIFESP), as well as a professor of Business Management and Entrepreneurship in the Biotechnology MBA Program at UNIFESP Baixada Santista campus.He is the Founder and Scientific Director of BioDecision Analytics Ltd., a pioneering Pharma Intelligence company in Latin America, where he serves as a scientific and regulatory consultant for companies dedicated to the research, development, innovation, and manufacturing of pharmaceutical, dermocosmetic, and advanced therapy products. He also serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals and as an ad hoc advisor for FAPESP.
