The LHC has produced experimental data about proton-proton and lead-lead collisions and there is an expectation that in the near future there will be proton-lead collisions. We use the small x effective action of QCD and the Color Glass Condensate formalism to derive explicit expressions for multi-pomeron vertices. These vertices will then be used to construct a gluon saturation-based model of hard diffraction in high energy QCD. (AU)
