Graduation in Chemical Engineering at the University of Castilla-La Mancha in July 2003, being awarded with the Prize of Best Graduate. The final graduation project was focused on the development of polymer supporte ultrafiltration for metal removal, sponsored by the Culture and Education Ministry of the Spanish Government. From Setember 2003 to October 2004, a doctoral stay was realized in the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (England) financed by the Marie Curie Training Fellowship Call. The doctorate was completed at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, in the Chemical Engineering Department. The focus of the PhD was the development of a High Temperature PEMFC system based on phosphoric acid doped polybenzimidazole. The PhD was obtained in January 2010. During the period betwen December 2008 to September 2009, I was working on the Regional Energy Agency of Castilla-La Mancha for the prmotion of renewable energies. In June 2010, I started to work as postdoctoral student at the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos for the development of electrocatalyst and its application in High Temperature DEFC based on polubenzimidazole. In June 2012, I was approved as adjunct professor at the Instituto of Chemistry of the University of Brasilia. I work on the Chemical Process Development Laboratory with focus on fuel cells and electrolyzers, as well as electrochemical remediation of persistent pollutants. I exerted administrative functions as coordinator of the Chemical Engineering Degree and nowadays I am the vice-head of the Institute of Chemistry. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
