Graduated in Biological Sciences in the Bachelor's and Bachelor's degrees from the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" (ESALQ/USP) and in Pedagogy. As an undergraduate, he participated in projects focused on Education, such as Pibid and the Public Education Improvement Program (FAPESP). He studied at the University of Évora, Portugal, in the area of Teaching; Science Teaching and Education, through the USP Exchange program. He has a master's degree from the Education program (research line: Environmental Education) at Unesp, Rio Claro campus and a PhD in Education for Science from Unesp, Bauru campus. She is currently a assistant professor in the department of Human Sciences and Nutrition and Food Sciences at Unesp, Botucatu campus, teaching subjects for the Biological Sciences course (degree and bachelor's degree) and coordinating extension projects, such as "Clube da Mata". She is a researcher at Fapesp and the National Institute of Citizen Science (INCC). She participates in the research group "Group of Studies and Research in Environmental Education, Sustainability and Environmentalization - GEPEASA" at Unesp, registered with CNPq and is an active member of the Brazilian Citizen Science Network (RBCC), as well as founder of the Casa da Natureza Network ( RCN). It operates mainly in the following areas: Education; Teaching; Science teaching; Teacher training; Environmental Education and Citizen Science. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
