Associate Professor of Immunology at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters at Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (FFCLRP-USP), in a Regimen of Full Dedication to Teaching and Research (RDIDP). I coordinate and teach "Immunology and Parasitology" and "Virology" for the Biological Sciences undergraduate course at FFCLRP-USP and run the Immunology Laboratory at FFCLRP-USP. I am an advisor in the Basic and Applied Immunology Postgraduate Program at Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP) and a fellow of the Brazilian Society of Immunology (associated with the International Union of Immunological Societies). I have a degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1988) and a master's (1994) and Ph.D. (1998) degrees obtained from the Basic and Applied Immunology Graduate Program at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP) at FMRP-USP. I did two postdoctoral studies (PD) at FMRP-USP (1998-2000 and 2002 to 2005), had the opportunity to work in Professor Michael Ferguson's Lab at the University of Dundee, Scotland, and had a New Doctor Scholarship from FAPEMIG (2001). I was an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing Ribeirão Preto-USP, where I coordinated and taught Microbiology and Immunology. Areas of interest: Immunology, highlighting Immunochemistry, Glycobiology, and Immunotherapy in Paracoccidioides brasiliensis. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
