has civil engineer degree from the Federal University of Pará (2002), master degree in civil engineer with emphasis in structural analysis from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro/RJ (2005) and PhD degree in civil engineer from the Institute for Structural Analysis of the Graz University of Technology, Austria (2009). Adjunct professor of the Institute of technology of the Federal University of Pará, nowadays is the deputy director of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the coordinator of the group NICAE (Instrumentation and Applied Computation for Engineering Group). Fields of study: solid mechanics, potential problems, static analysis, non-linear analysis, dynamic analysis, numerical methods, finite element method, boundary element method, reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, wood structures, tunnelling and deep rock excavation analysis, instrumentation and experimental analysis of stress and deformation, prediction and diagnosis of the structural behaviour and modal analysis.
