CV Lattes

Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Campus de Araraquara. Instituto de Química (IQ)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

He undergraduated in Physics at Federal University of Goiás (2007) with experience in X-ray diffraction by single-crystal, organic compounds. He obtained a Master's Degree in Physics at the same University (2010) with work on powder X-ray diffraction and Rietveld method applied to the characterization of magnetic materials and correlation of atomic occupation with its magnetic properties. At the Institute of Chemistry of Araraquara, Paulista State University, he earned a PhD degree in Chemistry, with one year of his doctorate at University of Durham (UK). He developed his PhD thesis in the application of powder diffraction to pharmaceuticals, as amorphous quantification and phase transition study, as a function of temperature and relative humidity. He collaborated in the construction of a chamber to perform X-ray powder diffraction experiments in situ (using XPD beamline, LNLS), with Temperature and Relative Humidity, which allows observing phase transitions (reversible or not), lattice parameters behavior, besides crystallization or loss of periodicity of matter. His Postdoc was on the XPD beamline, at LNLS, with a project aimed at experimental solutions for in situ powder X-ray diffraction. As a professor, he taught for two semesters the discipline of Crystallography (didactic scholarship) at UNESP - Campus de Araraquara (2011) and was Substitute Professor of General Physics at Federal University of Campina Grande (2015-2016). Between 2017-2020 he was a partner-owner of a Rietveld Refinement Consulting Office. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
