Graduated in Physics from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) / Faculty of Engineering Guaratinguetá (1999), master's and doctorate in meteorology at the National Institute for Space Research - INPE. During the period 2010 to 2012, conducted postdoctoral research on improving the inference algorithm of soil moisture, LPRM (Land Parameter Retrieval Model, which was developed in partnership with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration - NASA and the Free University of Amsterdam - Vrije Universiteit), using data from Aqua and SMOS satellites. Has experience in Meteorology, with emphasis on areas of Agrometeorology, Climatology, Hydrology, Soil Physics, Hydrological Modeling and Remote Sensing, acting on the following topics: soil moisture, surface temperature, vegetation optical depth and NDVI. She was worked as researcher contracted at theUniversitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) in partnership with SMOS Barcelona Center, where she develops research activities in agricultural drought using data derived from the SMOS satellite.
