I am currently a specialist in Applied Genomics Life Sciences at revvity. I was a laboratory supervisor at Mendelics, in the molecular biology center created for the diagnosis of COVID19 and also in the RD sector, in the development of a molecular diagnostic method by nanopore sequencing of the most common respiratory viruses.I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Viçosa-UFV and a PhD in Science from the postgraduate program in Biology of the Host-Pathogen Relationship, offered by the Department of Parasitology at the University of São Paulo-USP. I completed a sandwich doctorate at the University of Georgia in the group coordinated by Dr. Silvia Moreno and Dr. Roberto Docampo (USA) and Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy) under the supervision of Dr. Rosário Rizutto. I have a postdoctoral degree from Rutgers University (USA) where I worked in the group coordinated by Dr. Andrew P. Thomas in a project funded by the NIH and a postdoctoral degree from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FCF-USP).
