Huber Rizzo

Graduated in veterinary medicine (2002) and residency in Large Animal Clinic and Surgery (2003) from the University of Santo Amaro/SP. Master (2006) and Doctor (2011) in Veterinary Medical Clinic from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the University of São Paulo/SP, with an internship during the master's degree at the Institut Reproduction Farm Animals, Schonow, Germany (2006) and a sandwich doctorate at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique, Tours, France (2009), in biotechnology for the reproduction of small ruminants. He was a veterinarian responsible for the Ruminant Clinic and Surgery sector at HOVET and taught the subjects of Surgical Clinic, Surgical Technique and Large Animal Anesthesiology in the veterinary medicine course at Faculdade Pio Décimo, Aracajú/SE, Currently, at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, Recife, he is a professor of the Ruminant Medical Clinic discipline of the undergraduate course in veterinary medicine, supervisor of the Lato sensu Postgraduate Program in Veterinary Medicine and the Residency Program in the Professional Area of #8203;#8203;Health in Veterinary Medicine in the Clinical Area , Surgery and Reproduction of Large Animals, in addition to coordinating the Buiatrics Study Group of the Department of Veterinary Medicine (GEB/DMV). He was president of the Brazilian Buiatrics Association (2021-2023) and currently holds the position of President of the Pernambuco Buiatrics Association (2021-2024) and editor-chief of the Brazilian Buiatrics Magazine. In 2023, through the CAPES Internationalization Program (CAPES-PrInt UFRPE), he visited the Ruminant Clinical Service of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza, Spain.
