Mariana Galera Soler

Post-doctoral researcher at the Interuniversity Center for the History of Science and Technology - Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. PhD in History and Philosophy of Science, with a specialization in Museology from the University of Évora (2020). She holds a Master's degree in Museology (2015) and a degree in Biological Sciences (2007) from the University of São Paulo. Her doctoral thesis was distinguished as the best thesis in Museology in Portugal in 2020 and is part of the "Museum Studies" collection, promoted by the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage of the Portuguese Republic. In addition to articles, book chapters and papers at academic conferences, she has more than a decade's professional experience in coordinating exhibition and education projects in science museums and science exhibitions and science communication.
