She holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1979), a Masters Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Veterinary Medicine of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1983), a PhD in Experimental and Comparative Pathology from the University of São Paulo and a Post-doctorate in Cryopreservation of embryos of small ruminantes from INRA France. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of São Paulo, Where she works as a professor of Animal Obstetrics. As a line of research are the main biotechniques of assisted reproduction on Small ruminants, with emphasis on Production and cryopreservation of embryos and artificial insemination, as well as the tools and biotechnologies in assisted reproduction for the preservation of wild cats, jaguar and puma.
