Dario Ikuo Miyake

He holds a bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (1984), master's in Production Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (1993) and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tokyo Institute of Technology (1998). Has experience in Production Engineering, focusing on Planning, Design and Management of Production Systems, with focus on the following subjects: operations management, methodologies for the promotion of operational excellence (eg. lean production, lean six sigma, TQM, TPM), mass customization, and discrete event simulation.
