Senior Professor of Global Agribusiness at INSPER and coordinator of the center Insper Agro Global. Jank holds a tenure in Agricultural Economics at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ-USP - 2012), a Doctorate in Business Economics at USP School of Economics and Business (FEA -1996), a M.Sc. in Agricultural Policy in Montpellier-France, and a B.Sc. degree in Agronomy at ESALQ (1984). Jank has an eighteen-year career as associate professor at the University of São Paulos (USP) Colleges of Economics (FEA), International Relations (IRI), and Agriculture (ESALQ), with sabbatical periods in U.S. and European universities. In 2019/2020 he was the 2nd Holder of the Luiz de Queiroz Chair on integrated agri-food systems at ESALQ-USP. He was also the founding president of the Brazilian Institute for International Trade Negotiations (ICONE). and served as Special Expert in integration and trade at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington, DC. He also held consulting and project coordination positions at the World Bank, IDB, FAO, OECD, UNDP and other global organizations.
