Graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1977), MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1984), Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1991) and post-doctoral fellow at COMSAT Labarotories, Maryland, USA (1992). She is currently a professor at the Polytechnic University of Sao Paulo. Works in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on systems and crcuitos RF, microwave and millimeter wave, inwhich directed a doctoral thesis, eight master's theses, five graduation projects and four works of scientific initiation. She participated in 26 research projects, which generated 31 technology products and one patent . Right now participates in two research projects, coordinating one. She has experience in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on linear and nonlinear circuits, acting on the following topics: antennas, passive and active circuits, microwave MMIC and large signal modeling of microwave transistors. Her current research activities focus on the design of microwave circuits using eletromagnetic 3D simulation, with emphasis on tunable filters, multi-band planar antennas, and instrumentaion for radioastronomy..
