Angelo Luiz Cortelazzo

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the State University of Campinas (1983), MA in Cellular and Structural Biology (1986), doctorate in Plant Biology (1989) and Professor (Livre Docente) (1998) in Cell Biology, always at Unicamp, where he retired as a professor at the Institute of Biology in 2011. He did postdoctoral studies in Grenoble, France, working with plant cell walls. Has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;morphology, with emphasis on Plant Cell Biology. He served in the administration of courses (Course Coordinator of Biological Sciences from 1994 to 1998 and Dean of Undergraduate Unicamp from 1998 to 2002), why has publications and activities in the field of higher education and education. He is a member of the State Board of Education of the State of São Paulo since 2001 and Chairman of the Board of Higher Education, a position already in biennium ago/2004-jul/2006 exercised. Until December 2012 was in charge of Higher Education Unit of the Centro Paula Souza, an agency responsible for Faculties of Technology (Fatecs) in São Paulo.
