Fabio Souza Nunes

Major in Chemistry at Universidade de São Paulo (1987) and Ph.D. (Inorganic Chemistry) at Universidade de São Paulo (1992). Post-doctoral at Stanford University 1992-1994 (supervisor:Prof Henry Taube). Professor at the Federal University of Parana since 1995 and Full professor since 2017. Vice-coordinator of the Graduate Program in 2015-2016. Has experience in Coordination Chemistry, focusing on Inorganic Physical Chemistry, acting on the following subjects: synthesis and structural characterization of coordination compounds, with major interest in macrocyclic ligands; supramolecular chemistry; photophysics and photochemistry of coordination compounds; luminescent chemosensors; inorganic electronic spectroscopy, semi-empirical and DFT calculations; magnetism; reactivity; electrochemistry and redox reactivity; spectroelectrochemistry; homogeneous catalysis; thermodynamic and kinetic stability of complexes.
