Marisa Vieira de Queiroz

Graduated in Biological Sciences - Bachelor's degree from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (1985), Master's degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding from the ESALQ/USP (1988) and PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding from tESALQ/USP (1993) . She is currently a full professor at the Universidade Federal de Viçosa. She has experience in the area of Genetics and Biotechnology, with an emphasis on Molecular and Microorganism Genetics, molecular bases of pathogen-host interaction, control of phytopathogens, production of enzymes and promotion of plant growth by microorganisms.
