Miriam Godoy Penteado

"Livre Docente" in Mathematics Education, at Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp), IGCE - Campus de Rio Claro; postdoctoral fellow at the University of Bristol, England; doctorate in education from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp); master's degree in Mathematics Education from Unesp, graduation in mathematics from Unesp. For almost three decades has been involved in teaching and research activities at Unesp in Rio Claro, where has retired and remains linked to the Postgraduate Program in Mathematics Education, leading Épura - Research Group on Mathematics Education and Inclusion . The research is in the area of inclusion, under the perspective of critical mathematics education, focusing on teaching and learning mathematics at school and teacher education.
