Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), Elizabeth Lima is under-graduated in Occupational Therapy at Universidade de São Paulo (1985); master (1997) and phd (2003) in Psychology at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo; post-doctorate and visiting professor at the University of the Arts, London (2009). In 1996, she has founded collectively the Research Group Production of Subjectivity, Art, Body and Occupational Therapy. She was chairman of the Commission of Culture and University Extension - Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo, from 2021-2022. She is currently head of the Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy Department at FMUSP. On her researches she investigates how the fields of health and art became interrelated . Her studies also focus on contemporary Brazilian practices that connect creative process, corporeality, caring practices and the production of subjectivity.y. She has experience in occupational therapy, the arts and subjectivity studies, working mainly on the following subjects: occupational therapy, the art, health and culture interface, creative processes, subjectivity policies, mental health and collective health.
