Postdoctoral research at Pennsylvania State University, United States (2010). Full professor at the Department of Economics, Management, and Sociology at ESALQ - University of São Paulo. Experienced in the field of Economics, with an emphasis on Food Security, Agribusiness, and International Economics, mainly focusing on the following topics: international economics and trade, sanitary and technical barriers to trade, trade and the environment, and regulatory and sanitary defense policy impact assessment. Researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea/USP). Member of Agribio - Artificial Intelligence Center (C4AI-USP); member of INCT Combate à Fome; and of the Reference Center for Animal Health Economics for the Americas, of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH).
