Eugenio Sper de Almeida is a professor at Fatec Cruzeiro and researcher from National Institute for Space Research (INPE) at Coordenação de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Tecnológico (COPDT). He has DSc degree in Applied Computing (2007) and MSc degree in Remote Sensing (1997) from INPE, and graduation in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Faculty of Sciences and Technology/FVE (1988). He was CIO (Head of Supercomputing and IT Services) at the Weather Forecasting and Climate Studies (CPTEC) at INPE (02/2005-10/2009), member of INPEs Steering Committee for Information Technology and Data Communication (CGICD) and INPEs Group Security Systems and Networks (GSR).
