Working with emphasis on Ecology of Tropical Ecosystems, using stable isotopes as indicators of nutrient content and availability. Experience in carbon and nutrients cycling, mainly nitrogen and phosphorus, in the Brazilian biomes: Atlantic Forest and Caatinga. Currently, post-doctoral researcher at the University of São Paulo (USP) investigating the effects of slash and burn agriculture on the biogeochemistry of the Caatinga biome.
