Letícia Calixtre obtained her PhD in Physiotherapy in 2018 from the Graduate Program in Physiotherapy at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), with financial support from FAPESP. She carried out a one-year sandwich PhD in the Netherlands at the Academic Centre of Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). She completed her postdoctoral studies at the School of Dentistry of Araraquara (UNESP) and UFSCar, with CAPES-Print funding. She completed her third postdoctoral stage at the Research Laboratory in Health and Functional Performance at the University of Pernambuco (UPE), Petrolina campus. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Physiotherapy Department at UPE and is affiliated with the Graduate Program in Rehabilitation and Functional Performance at UPE.Her main research topic is the regional interdependence between the cervical spine and the temporomandibular joint, and how this relationship may influence temporomandibular dysfunctions, cervicalgia, and headaches. She received the title of specialist in Traumatology-Orthopedic Physiotherapy from Coffito, becoming a member of Abrafito in May 2024. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
