Lucia Sousa e Silva

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at the Architecture and Urbanism College of the University of São Paulo (1994), and master and PhD in Environmental Science from the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Science of the University of São Paulo (2005 and 2013). Between 1999 and 2012, worked as a researcher at the Metropolis Urbanism Laboratory (LUME), at the Architecture and Urbanism College of the University of São Paulo. Employed since 2012 as an effective employee of the Secretariat of Environment, Infrastructure and Logistics of the State of São Paulo (SEMIL), in the Environmental Planning Coordination (CPLA) and, since march 2023, is the director of the Environmental Territorial Planning Center of this coordination. Experienced in regional and environmental planning, working mainly in the elaboration of territorial analyzes in geographic information systems (GIS) and in the discussion, elaboration and implementation of different territorial and environmental planning instruments.
