She holds a bachelor's degree in Science from University Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1997), a master's degree in Biological sciences (Microbiology) from the University of São Paulo (2000), a doctorate in Microbiology and Immunology from the Federal University of São Paulo (2005) and MBA in innovation management in health from Institute Butantan (2021). Currently she is Scientific Researcher and Technical Director of the Tuberculosis and Mycobacteriosis Branch of the Adolfo Lutz Institute, and vice president of Brazilian Net of Tuberculosis (REDE-TB) Research. He has experience in the area of Microbiology, with emphasis in Medical Microbiology, working mainly in the following areas: phenotypic and molecular identification and resistance profile of mycobacteria, diagnosis of outbreaks caused by non-tuberculous mycobacteria, tuberculosis laboratories networks, quality assurance system, biosafety and health innovation.
