Alan Mitchell Durham

Graduated as A Bachelor in Computer Science at the Univesidade de São Paulo (1983). Obtained the master's degree in Applied Mathematics at the Univesity of São Paulo (1987) and PhD in Computer Science from University Of Illinois At Urbana Champaign (1997). Currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the Computer Science Deptartment of the Universidade de São Paulo. Has experience in Computer Science, focusing on Computer Systems Architecture, acting on the following subjects: bioinformatica, molecular biologyr, automatic sequence analysis, computational frameworks and gene predicxtion.
