Gynecologist and Obstetrician graduated from the USP-Ribeirão Preto Medical School with a medical residency and specialization in endocrine gynecology from the Ribeirão Preto Clinical Hospital. Master and Doctorate in Human Reproduction at USP-Ribeirão. Specialist Titles in Gynecology and Obstetrics, Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy by Febrasgo. Specialization in Family Health by the Ministry of Education. Specialization in Medical Education and Active Teaching and Learning Methodologies by the School of Health Professions Education - SHE in Maastricht University (The Neetherlands) in 2013, Specialization in Education for Health Professions by the FAIMER-Brazil Program (2015). Adjunct Professor at the Department of Medicine of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) between 2006 and 2012. Currently Full Professor, Coordinator of the Curricular Unit Medical Skills and member of the Structuring Teaching Center of the University of Ribeirão Preto (UNAERP). leader of the Endocrine Gynecology Research Directory (CNPq) and member of the Medical Education Research Directory (CNPq). He is currently Chairman of the Medical Residency Commission of the Brazilian Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics Societies (COREME-Febrasgo), where he led the preparation and validation of the Matrix of Gynecology and Obstetrics Competencies approved by AMB and CNRM. He also led the national implementation of the Resident Gynecology and Obstetrics Individual Progress Test (TPI-GO). Founder and Coordinator of Febrasgo's Residence Preceptor Training Course since 2018.He is a member of the National Commission of the Title of Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics (CN-TEGO) of Febrasgo, Associate Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics - RBGO, Reviewer of Articles of Medical Education Magazine, Fapesp ad hoc Consultant in Medical Education, individual delegate of the Brazilian Association of Medical Education (ABEM). He has been a doctor and teacher for over 20 years with an emphasis on Medical Education and Assessment, with experience in active teaching and learning methodologies, competency-oriented training, competence matrix development, professional and interprofessional training, preceptor training, drafting. and item review (INEP / MEC), individual progress test (ICC), training and assessment of simulated environment medical skills (OSCE), evaluation of undergraduate medical courses and residency programs in gynecology and obstetrics.
