Graduated in Electrical Engineering from UNESP (1987), Master's degree (1992) and PhD (1997) in Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP, in the area of electric machines. Post doctorate at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra in Portugal (2014). Electrical engineering postgraduate lecturer at USP/São Carlos and UNESP/Bauru. Teaches as subjects Energy Conversion, Electric Machines, Transformers, Electric Vehicles and Power Electronics for undergraduate courses at the Faculty of Engineering of Bauru (FEB) of Unesp. He is the co-author of the book Electromechanical Energy Conversion: An Introduction to the Study. At FEB/UNESP, he has been a member of the Congregation, president of the Permanent Research Committee, president of the Local Evaluation Group, coordinator of the undergraduate course in Electrical Engineering, member of the Permanent Teaching Committee and the Permanent University Extension Committee. He has also been a member of the undergraduate council and electrical engineering department council in various managements. He is a member of the Curator Council of Vunesp. Coordinates regular and distance learning courses for electrical engineering professionals. In the area of occupational safety teaches postgraduate course in lighting. He is an institutional and higher education evaluator at INEP/MEC and the CEE/SP. Develop research in the field of electrical machines, transformers, power electronics, power quality, electric vehicles and distance learning. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
