Rosa Ana Conte

Graduate in Physics at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1977), master's in Solid State Physics at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1984) and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1995). She has experience in Instrumental Analytical Chemistry, focusing on Optical Methods of Analysis, acting on the following subjects: biomass refinery,, biomass energy, materials from residues. Presently the research line is to develop sustainable systems of electric energy generation based on the total integration of fossil and renewable energies through the development of high-performance materials, apparatus and technologies to increase thermal efficiencies of electric energy generation systems using, among others, supercritical water and recovery of residual heat.
