Angélica Aparecida Tanus Benatti Alvim

Architect and Urbanist (Faculdade de Belas Artes de São Paulo, 1986), with a Masters and Ph.D. in Architecture and Urbanism (Universidade de São Paulo - FAU/USP, 1996; 2003). She is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Presbyterian University, where she has been teaching in the undergraduate Architecture and Urbanism program since 1991 and has been a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism since 2005. She is a full member of the CNPq in the Advisory Committee - Architecture and Urbanism, Demography, Human and Regional Geography, Physical Geography, Urban Planning, and Tourism (CA-SA) (sub-area Architecture and Urbanism) with a term from 07/01/2024 to 06/30/2027.She is the former Director of FAU Mackenzie (2016-2023); General Coordinator of Stricto Sensu Graduate Programs at the Presbyterian University Mackenzie (2013-2016); Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism at FAU Mackenzie (2010-2013); and Research Coordinator at FAU Mackenzie (2008-2010). She was President of the National Association of Research and Graduate Studies in Architecture and Urbanism (ANPARQ) - 2015/2016; Director of ANPARQ (2014-2015); Member of the Fiscal Council (2017-2018); and chaired the ANPARQ Award 2020.She has authored several articles in national and international journals.
