Agronomist from Universidade de São Paulo (1951) , Doctor (1953), PhD (1965) Associate Professor (1975) and Full Professor (1975) at the same University. Expert in Food Technology, Food Sciende, Tecnology of Sugar, Alcohol, Industrial Fermentations and Agroindustry Engineering. Specialization in Alcohol Technology (1953/54) at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Agricoles et Alimentaires, Douai (Nord) and Paris and in indusrial fermentation at Fermentation Department of Patronato Juan de la Cierva in Madrid (1957/1958). Professor and Coordinator of Agronomy Course of Medical and Biological Sciences now Agricultural Sciences College of Universidade Estdual Julio de Mesquit Filho - UNESP, at Botucatu (1967/1968). Professor of Fermentation Technologies at Pharmaceutical Sciences College of Universidade de São Paulo and adviser in Master and Doctor Levels (1971-2000). Founder member of Fundação de Estdos Agrários Luiz de Queiroz in 1976, member of the council board for three periods of two years, twice Prsident of the board, Director from 1997 to 2000 and from 2001 t0 2003. Teached at Escola Supeirior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz from 1952 to 1987, beinh head of the Technology Department from 1977 to 1985 and Vice principal of the College from 1984 to 1987, when has been retired. National and international consultant in his specialities. Full Professor at Escola de Engenharia Mauá of Mauá Universitary Centre.
