At the present moment is Research and Full professor, Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUCSP). Research and Associate professor at Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa of São Paulo FCMSCSP. Director of a Center of Studies on Hearing Disorders - CEDIAU. Founder of the Brazilian Society of Speech Therapy and Audiology and of the Brazilian Academy of Audiology. President of the International Society of Audiology. Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Member and Vice-President of the William House Association of Otology. Member of the Editorial board of 11 scientific periodicals. She has experience in Clinical and Rehabilitative Audiology, acting on the following areas: consultant in acoustics, audiological research, hearing rehabilitation and clinical evaluation, training, hearing aids fitting and adaptation and hearing preservation.
