José Augusto Baranauskas

He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo, a master's and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto campus. He has experience in Artificial Intelligence with an emphasis on Computational Learning applied to medical, biomedical, and biological areas, focusing primarily on learning understandable models and information structuring.
