Djalma José Fagundes

Graduated in Medicine at the Paulista School of Medicine (1974), Master degree (1989), PhD (1990) in Operative Technique and Experimental Surgery - Paulista School of Medicine (1989) and Free Professor at UNIFESP-EPM (2007). Full Professor (2015) of Surgery Department of UNIFESP-EPM. General Surgeon at Brazilian Federal Ministry of Education. Was Chairman of (2000-2004) and is currently Vice Chairman (2016) of the Operative Technique and Experimental Surgery-EPM. He was Coordinator of the Postgraduate Surgery and Experimentation Program from 2002 to 2006. He is advisor of the MBA Program in Interdisciplinary Science Surgical-EPM. Has experience in the area of Medicine, with emphasis on Experimental Surgery, acting on the following topics: experimental animals, surgical adhesives, biological integration of prostheses and transplants, ischemia / reperfusion and hyperbaric oxygenation, molecular biology (gene expression of oxidative stress).
