Full Professor in the Psychology Department of the Ribeirão Preto School of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters at the University of São Paulo (USP-RP). She has a degree in Psychology from the University of São Paulo (1991), a Masters in Science - Psychoeducation from the Université de Montreal / Canada (1995) and a PhD in Psychology from the University of São Paulo (1999). She coordinates the GROUP OF STUDIES AND RESEARCH IN PSYCHOSOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND INTERVENTION (GEPDIP/USP). She has experience in research and intervention with groups considered to be at psychosocial risk, especially children and adolescents, working on the following topics: victimised children and adolescents and their families, adolescents in conflict with the law and psychosocial intervention (psychoeducation) / programme evaluation. He is a Full Associate Member of the Brazilian Society of Psychology; Member of the Board of Directors of the International Society for Criminology; Founding Member of the International Association of Criminology in Portuguese.
