Graduate in Ciencias Biológicas from the Universidad de La República Oriental Del Uruguay (1975) and Ph.D. in Morfologia - Biologia Celular from the Universidade de São Paulo (1981). Post-doc from the Faculdade de Medicina at Ribeirão Preto, Universidade de São Paulo (FAPESP grant). Professor of Pathology at the Faculdade de Odontologia de Ribeirão Preto, Universidade de São Paulo.Has experience in Morphology - Teratology, acting on the following subjects: morphometry, foettus, placenta, T.cruzi - effects on the placenta and foetus, and effects of the heavy metals on the intrauterine development .
