He holds a degree in Literature from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1984), a Master's degree in Literature from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1990) and a PhD in Literary Studies from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1999). He was an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Science of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences - Unesp - Marília, and a professor of the Permanent Staff of the Postgraduate Program in Information Science - PPGCI - of the Federal University of Pará - UFPA. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Information Science and Literature, working mainly on the following themes: Information Science, Document Analysis, Discourse Analysis and Literary Discourse Analysis. Leader of the Research Group "Language, discourse and organization of knowledge", registered with CNPq. He was a CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship holder from 2009 to 2024.
