Paula Hentschel Lobo da Costa

Since 1994 I have been working at the Department of Physical Education of the Federal University of Sao Carlos (SP), Brazil, where I am a Professor (2023) . I have graduaded in Physical Education (1987) by the School of Physical Education and Sports of the University of Sao Paulo (SP), Brazil. My Master (1996) and Doctor (2000) degrees were in Biodynamics of Human Movement made also at the School of Physical Education and Sports of the University of Sao Paulo (SP), Brazil. My PhD project was developed at the Biomechanics Institut of the German Sports University in Cologne, Germany. My Post-Doc (2014) studies were developed at the Biology Department of the University of Antwerp, Antwerp, Belgium. I was a visiting researcher at the University of Münster (Germany, 2009) and at the University of Regensburg (Alemenha, 2023). My main research topics are: biomechanical analysis of human movements, locomotion and balance in children, yoga and swimming. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
