Adriana Maria Nolasco is a retired doctor professor at the University of São Paulo (1988 - 2019). Graduated in Home Economics at the University of São Paulo (1986), Master in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (1993) and PhD in Environmental Engineering Sciences at the University of São Paulo (2000). Visiting Professor at the Center for Renewable Carbon, Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries, Herbert College of Agriculture, University of Tennessee (2014 - 2015). She has worked as a consultant for city halls, industries, recycling cooperatives, NGOs, GAEMA (Special Action Group for the Environment) / Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo, Secretariat of Infrastructure and Environment of the State of São Paulo and CETESB in the area solid waste. It operates in the areas of solid waste management and management (urban, industrial, agro-industrial and forestry), technological innovation for waste recovery and circular economy.
