Sandra Do Lago Moraes

I have graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCF) of the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1986 and obtained the title of Doctor of Science (PhD), in the area of Immunology, from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of USP in 1994 . I built my career as a Scientific Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Medicine at USP from 1989 to 2014 and as a Visiting Researcher at the Immunology Laboratory at the Instituto do Coração/FMUSP from 2003 to 2013. During these years I have developed research projects (design, fundraising , execution, analysis and presentation of results) in the area of Immunology and Diagnosis of Infectious Diseases, mainly malaria and HIV, I have dedicated myself to university teaching and student guidance (scientific initiation, specialization, master's and doctorate). After retiring from USP in 2014, I started working as a volunteer in coordinating and executing social projects with needy communities at the NGO Associação Morumbi de Integração Social (AMIS). From 2019 onwards, I began working as an Educational Coordinator at the Christian Studies Center of the Morumbi Baptist Church and seeking training in human sciences that fills gaps in academic training, such as Training in Instructional Design, Andragogy, Active Methodologies, Didactics, Hybrid Teaching , People Management by skills.The skills acquired throughout life with the mobilization of knowledge, new skills developed and attitudes required by concrete situations enable me to work in the creation and development of educational materials, training programs and learning experiences, always with a clear objective: facilitate the effective transfer of knowledge and skills.I firmly believe that education is a powerful tool to transform lives, and that is what has always motivated me to share my knowledge and experience.
