Graduated in Letters (Portuguese/Greek) from the University of São Paulo (1992), Master's degree in Philology and Portuguese Language from the University of São Paulo (1996), PhD in Philology and Portuguese Language from the University of São Paulo (2001), post-graduate PhD from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon (in 2004 and 2015) and Habilitation in Philology and Portuguese Language from the University of São Paulo (2022). He is currently Associate Professor (MS-5.1) at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences at the University of São Paulo and Collaborating Professor at the Center for Linguistics at the University of Lisbon (Philology Team). He is a member of the scientific committee of the collection Atlântica - Luzo-brazilian Linguistics, Philolgy, Translation and Interpreting Studies, published by Pisa University Press. Coordinates the research group ETeP - Text Editing in Portuguese, registered with CNPq (http://etep.fflch.usp.br). Coordinates the research group TEMPo - Portuguese Medieval Texts and their Sources: editing and philological studies, registered with CNPq (http://gptempo.fflch.usp.br). Member of NEHiLP - Research Support Center for Etymology and History of the Portuguese Language (http://www.nehilp.org). Editor of the journal Filologia e Linguística Portuguesa (2016-2022). He has experience in the area of Philology, with emphasis on Portuguese Philology, working mainly on the following subjects: Textual Criticism, Paleography, Codicology, Material Bibliography, Diplomatics and History of the Portuguese Language.
