Baccalaureate in Speech and Hearing Therapy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (1984), Master's degree in Speech Therapy from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1989) and Ph.D. in Education from the State University of Campinas (1998). She is currently a speech therapist at the Speech Therapy Office, administrative technical director at the medical and multidisciplinary health clinic - INTERCLINICAS. She was a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas until her retirement in 2015. She was a guest researcher at CBMEG-UNICAMP. She works with public health and supplementary health (accredited) in deafness-LIBRAS and autism spectrum disorder-TEA. She is a health researcher and teaches courses for different entities / institutions in the areas of deafness and neurodevelopmental disorders.
