Full Professor at Institute of Economics of the Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP (since 2004). Bachelor of Economics, UNICAMP (1985), Master in Economics, UNICAMP (1994) and PhD in Physical Education, UNICAMP (1998). Lecture in Labor Economics at UNICAMP (2014). Full Professor in Labor Economics at UNICAMP (2023). Associate director of the Institute of Economics at UNICAMP (Oct./2011 to Oct./2015). Currently, he is a researcher at the Centre for Trade Union Studies and Labour Economics (Centro de Estudos Sindicais e de Economia do Trabalho - CESIT), editor of the Brazilian Journal of Social and Labour Economics (Revista Brasileira de Economia Social e do Trabalho - RBEST), and associate coordinator of the Center for Public Policy Studies (NEPP) at UNICAMP. Experience of teaching and research in the following disciplines: economic development, labour market, and public policies. He has also researched and published studies on sports economics.
