Graduated in Speech Therapy and Audiologist from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1989), Master in Speech Therapy and Audiologist from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1994) and PhD in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (2000). She is currently an Associate Professor at the Speech Therapy Department at EPM-UNIFESP, an Associate Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, audiologist at the Clinical Audiology Service at DERDIC PUC-SP and a business consultant in the field of occupational health. Opinionist of Noise Health, Brazilian Journal of Occupational Health, Codas, International Journal of Audiology, Distúrbios da Comunicação and Revista de Saúde Pública / Journal of Public Health. Area editor of the journal Audiology - Communication Research (ACR). She was President of the Brazilian Academy of Audiology (2007-2009) and Vice President of the Brazilian Society of Acoustics (2007-2010). She has experience in the area of Public Health, Occupational Health and Epidemiology, working mainly on the following themes: noise induced hearing loss prevention, noise pollution, aging and audiological diagnosis. As an epidemiologist, in 2014 he began a partnership with the Discipline of Neuroscience, Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Escola Paulista de Medicina - UNIFESP, to assist in the elaboration of epidemiological study designs in the areas of Aging, Epilepsy and Parkinson.
