Lucimar Santiago de Abreu

An agronomist, she holds a Master's degree in Sociology from the State University of Campinas (1994) and a PhD in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2002). Post-Doctoral Internship at the University of Paris X, held in 2011. Participated in several international cooperation projects, among which, I highlight, the International Comparison Project on the Development of Organic Production, financed by ICROFS/DK (https://icrofs. dk/en/). The International Study Mission carried out between November 2014 and February 2015, linked to the set of activities of the Capes Cofecub Project, of Cooperation between Brazilian and French institutions, among other projects. Since 1984, she has been a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (www.embrapa.br/meio-ambiente). It develops research in the field of the ecological transition of family farming, local markets, sustainable rural development and territories. Currently, he is a member of sociotechnical networks of organic agriculture and of the rural studies network. From 2006 to 2022, he contributed to UFSCar, where he taught a course and mentored graduate students with the Graduate Program in Agroecology and Rural Development (PPGADR). Between November 2021 and November 2022, he completed a postdoctoral degree at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, on sociotechnical networks for the production and consumption of ecological foods. Author of books on sustainable development and the relationship between social actors and natural resources, including analyzes of the social perception of ecological risk in territories, she also contributes with the publication of a series of articles, book chapters, topics addressed from the perspective of the social sciences .
