Ajzenberg has her PhD and a degree in philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo, as well as a degree in plastic arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts. Professor of Art History and Criticism in the School of Arts and Communication at the University of São Paulo. Coordinator of the Program Inter-units in Aesthetics and Art History (2000-2009). Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in São Paulo MAC-USP (2002-2005). Today, she is coordinator of Centro Mario Schenberg for Documentation of Research in Arts at the University of São Paulo; Member of the Board of Collections of São Paulo's State Art and Cultural Palaces; Coordinator of the Course of Art and Society in Latin America at the UNESCO Chair of Latin America?s Memorial, São Paulo, Brazil.
