Ingrid Dormien Koudela is one of Brazil´s leading drama teachers and has run Theatre/Drama in Education at the University of São Paulo for many years, the first university department in Brazil to offer MA and PHD programs specifically in this field. Her former publications include THEATRE GAMES (Perspectiva, 2011), a theoretical approach to the mainstream classroom drama, influenced by the work of Viola Spolin; BRECHT: A LEARNING PLAY ( Perspectiva, 1991), an analysis of Brecht´s didactic theatre where she explores their potential links to the perspectives of Piaget and Spolin and develops Brecht´s theory of the Lehrstück. Other publications include TEXT AND PLAY (Ed. Perspectiva, 2013) which goes beyond report and analysis of experiences and their respective influences. It presentes the outcome of this analysis in forma of a methodology which merges altenative approaches to theatre and text. She published also BÜCHNER (org., Perspectiva, 2004); HEINER MÜLLER (org. Perspectiva, 2003) and LEXICON OF THEATRE PEDAGOGY (Org., Perspectiva, 2015). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
