Full Professor at the Department of Political Science and the Graduate Program in Political Science at Unicamp. Co-coordinator of the Research Center on Participation, Social Movements and Collective Action (Nepac-Unicamp). He did his Post-Doctorate at the University of Bradford, at the International Center of Participation and Peace Studies, Doctorate in Social Sciences and Masters in Political Science, both at Unicamp. Develops research on the themes: democracy and participation, social movements, protests and activism in Brazil. Among his most recent works, we highlight the co-organization of the books: "Participação e ativismos: entre retrocessos e resistências" (2022) e "Movimentos Sociais e Políticas Públicas" (2021), e "Socio-political dynamics within the crisis of the left.
